Account Manager 

Under the oversight of the Director of ATE, the ATE Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding business with broker and law firm partners, contributing to strategy, conducting regular law firm account reconciliations, supporting Partner Reviews, contributing to the overall marketing strategy, identifying and attending relevant events, contributing to the overall function of the ATE Team. The position will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Underwriting and ATE) to improve the entire client experience. This position provides a flexible remote/in-office arrangement depending on business needs and may require occasional travel.

This role is primarily focused on account management, with approximately 70% of responsibilities dedicated to managing and growing existing broker and law firm relationships, 15% focused on sales/business development, and the remaining 15% supporting marketing, events, onboarding, and team initiatives

 

What Will You Do?

  • Manage overall profitability of client accounts through regular reconciliation activities, and in line with ARAG strategy
  • Support Underwriting assessment of new business opportunities in line with established authority limits
  • Preparation of onboarding packages and contracts based on precedent language
  • Support targeted sales and business development activities, including identifying opportunities within existing accounts and assisting with prospective partner onboarding
  • Promote awareness of ATE Solutions products at all levels
  • Maintain prompt and clear communications with clients and internally with Stakeholders, contributing to strategic dialogue
  • Attend, host, and deliver client meetings in collaboration with broker partners to support relationship management, account growth, and client engagement
  • Manage and execute against regular client reviews
  • Attendance at industry events
  • Support marketing initiatives and overall marketing plan

 About you: 

  • RIBO license or eligibility within three months of hire
  • Legal industry experience and knowledge; inclusive of law firm experience an asset
  • Relevant experience in sales and marketing is an asset but not required
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • College diploma or University degree or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
