Account Coordinator, Corporate Partnerships - Toronto, Ontario

The ARAG Group, a global leader in legal expense insurance operating in 19 countries offers an innovative and comprehensive range of legal expense products and services for brokers, underwriting agents and insurers across Canada. 

As part of our strategy to expand and strengthen our presence across Canada, we are looking for an energetic and creative person to join us as an Account Coordinator in Toronto.  

What will you do?

  • Support our Account Management Team in the handling of existing Corporate Partners.
  • Monthly and Quarterly Report generation.
  • Liaise with various internal departments such as Underwriting, Marketing, Claims on behalf of the Account Management Team.
  • Scheduling and administering our Account Management Review and Renewal process.
  • Handling internal and external Marketing material items (presentation decks, promotional material etc.)
  • Relationship management of Corporate Partners, including training of partners and brokers on our products including in person delivery, webinars and go-to meetings.
  • Project manage industry convention attendance and infrastructure.
  • Handle general Corporate Partner enquiries by either phone or email and act as a secondary point of contact.
  • Various project work as needed.
  • Travel and attendance at various industry and networking events as required.

About You:

  • College diploma or university degree or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Sales or Customer Service with a good understanding of account management principles and techniques.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. 
  • Proactive approach to developing and maintaining relationships with partners, brokers and colleagues. 
  • Comfortable creating a professional rapport with partner clients and colleagues.
  • High degree of drive and ability to take initiative to get the required work done and meet deadlines through the application of time management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including strong Excel skills).
  • Ability to analyze and identify data trends with supporting commentary.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to exercise judgment on matters requiring urgent attention.
  • Level I General Insurance License a strong asset or expectation of the successful candidate to obtain the license within first 6 months of employment.
  • Capability to influence peers and decision makers, and to handle objections and obstacles.
